Ella Jameson of CR - Kennedy High School is out biggest stock-riser in this Update. The 6'3 Center has been looking in tip-top shape near the hoop the last few months. We had a chance to see Jameson at our PGH Showcase to begin the month and she killed her competition. Which is noteworthy when you take into consideration that some of the best Post defenders in the state were in attendance. That did not phase Jameson a bit. When she caught the ball on offense with her back to the basket, no one could stop her and it makes you think. It makes you think that if she can continue to progress at this rate moving forward - she will clearly be a Division 1 basketball player. She might even be Power 4 if we really see it come all together at a high rate in the near future. In this Update Jameson moves into the #11 spot with the possibility of breaking the Top Five at some point if she takes care of business.

The biggest question we will have for Albany Reinke is how far can she take things? Every time that we are in the building Reinke puts up great numbers and she looks the part as a 6'0 CG/SF. When things get challenging, she turns up the pressure and plays some of her best ball. Offensively, she can attack off the dribble from each level or she can score with her strength in-between the blocks. Defensively, she is up for any challenge. She is smarts within her own ability and she understands what works or what doesn't in most situations. If not, it's always a learning experience at the end of the day for a prospect of this caliber. In this Update Reinke moves into the #14 spot as we step into this Winter season over the next few weeks. A respectable spot if you ask me.

The natural ability of Gracie Wilson was apparent last Winter while she was a Freshman at SE Polk High School. Wilson, the 6'0 Guard, is smooth with it. When she is dribbling it seems effortless and that's not always the case. When you see it with this type of prospect at this age, it raises some eyebrows. There were a handful of players on the SE Polk roster last year that didn't get their proper chances to shine and I think it's going to be a different story this Winter with their new coaching staff/system's in place. As for this Update though, Wilson moves up to #20 in this loaded Top 25.

Maeve Moran will continue to be a stock-riser as she gets older it seems like. Moran, the 5'11 SG, checks off a lot of boxes. She has length and notable height, she is skilled with the ball as a SG who can get her own shots on the offensive end while being a stout defender, she can rebound with that size she brings with her to the floor, and she is always one of the first on the ground or into the stands for loose ball opportunities - demonstrating that she is willing to sacrifice her body for her teammates. When you combined all of that - you get someone that sounds like they can compete at the college level once they graduate high school. Her steady progression will matter over the next two seasons but as long as that stays up to par, she should have some options at the end of the day.

Shai Meyer holds down the Top 25 coming into this Update at #25th. Meyer would be defined as a smart and capable CG, who is not afraid to take contact or to mix it up with anyone that might be bigger than herself. She is willing to be your starting PG, assisting those around her at a consistent rate. She will be your SG/CG and produce off the ball if someone else handles it down the floor and she will even post up smaller prospects that might stand in her way on the attack. It's not a usual thing but she isn't picky. She takes what the defense gives her and that's the best type of basketball. Cedar Falls is going to have some young guns coming up, making some plays over the next 3-5 years. Meyer will be looked at as one of their leaders. Which shouldn't be an issue since she seems to lead by example any way.
