AR4 showed up and showed her worth last Winter as a Freshman at the Varsity level. She played the CG/SF spot coming in at 6’0 and she was tough to stop against most competition that she played. Offensively, she got to her spots, beat her matchups, and converted at a high rate. She rebounded and defended just as well, only getting better and better as the season moved throughout the year. I’m looking for a full take over by AR4 over the next twelve months at Spirit Lake. When she plays with confidence, she can be the best on the floor and I hope we see that first hand because she could be a next level prospect at the end of the day with the right guidance.

of Spirit Lake put together one of the best seasons throughout the state as a whole this past Winter for a player out of the 2029 Class. Reinke’s mixture of size and skill is just too much for the competition she is competing against right now. When she is on the road with her

team she has more of a challenge but either way, she usually puts in good work and produces great numbers to follow that because her size and physicality is too much. If she ever gets matched up with someone bigger, she also has the athletic ability to step out and make them defend away from the basket out on an island. This usually leads to a lot of trouble for their opponents. We are looking for a big Spring out of Reinke. If she can show her dominance on the road like she did this past few months, then her team is going to win A LOT of games because they have several other talented prospects to pair along with this group.

of Spirit Lake High School. Reinke stepped up this season to show everyone watching that she has a great size over 6′ and that she can play. She wasn’t a name that we had on our radar to start the year but she definitely has been a name to note to finish it. Spirit Lake fell just short in their battle Saturday evening but someone that kept them in this game during clutch time was Reinke. She was able to work out of the Post, taking up space in the middle of the lane on both sides of the ball. Offensively, she was a player of opportunity. She was moving into open space and making the most off of others creation off the dribble. Whenever there was a missed shot attempt, she stepped up to try and grab the rebound for another possession. Defensively, if opponents didn’t worry about her, she would end the play with an altered shot of some sorts in the form of a tip or deflection. Spirit Lake might not of made State this time around but looking at their roster from this season and they are in a great spot looking towards the future with their young core.

Spirit Lake figured out early on in their contest against Estherville Lincoln-Central that they had an advantage in the Post with their height. After that they used this height and killed The Midgets with their back to the basket action between-the-blocks. The player that did most of the, “killing”, for Spirit Lake was Freshman –

. Reinke, the 6’0 PF, finished the game with 25 points (9/15) and 14 rebounds, leaving her with a convincing double-double to help her group move on. She also registered 3 blocks and 4 steals in the process, making her mark on both sides of the ball as a disruptor as well. Reinke’s stat-line in this battle was obviously impressive but what is more impressive is the fact that she altered almost every shot near the lane that came her way. Her reach was difficult for opponents to deal with and that played a factor in their success.

Spirit Lake needed players to step up this Winter with who they were returning on roster and they have been doing just that. Someone for this group that has been very impressive is one of their Freshman –

. Reinke has already proven halfway through this year that she is a handful under the bucket with her size. She comes into the high school ranks at just over 6’0 and she has some pure skill in between the blocks to back that up. The 2029 Class is one that is fairly stacked at this point and Reinke just added to that even more when you watch her compete.

Reinke is another freshman that is not only impressing with her stats, but is doing so while winning games. Her Spirit Lake squad (class 3A) is currently second in the Lakes Conference and Reinke’s contribution has attributed to some of that success. Reinke is scoring 18.4PPG, which is good for second-highest output as a freshman. She’s a 6’0″ forward with a lot to like — she’s mobile, has a nose for the ball, and has quick hands that leads her to lots of transition buckets. Hauling in 11 boards per game and shooting at a high clip as well (50%FG), Reinke is more than capable pushing the floor in transition (in fact, she thrives there), and doesn’t shy from contact at the rim. She also has the patience to fake you out if she doesn’t have a clear path to the bucket.
