The Fall League has provided an opportunity for numerous prospects to make a statement. Whether it was scoring, rebounding, defensive toughness, or simply bringing energy to the floor, these players found ways to impact the game. In this article, we take a closer look at some of the players who stood out and made a statement as the fall season winds down and the regular season approaches.

[player_tooltip player_id='1318420' first='Zamora' last='Williams'] continues to improve and has played well in the Fall League. Williams is long and has the ability to be dominant on both sides of the ball. She can score inside and has demonstrated a nice mid-range shooting touch. Defensively, Williams is going to be a problem in the paint. She has the ability to block shots and is active to the point that she prevents opponents from driving into the paint. Williams can also step outside and cover on the perimeter. Her size and versatility give her the ability to be dominant on both sides of the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='515000' first='Rainah' last='Small'] brought a calmness to her team and was poised and composed during crucial moments in the game. Small has the experience and can handle the ball, shoot from the perimeter, attack the rim, and can dish the rock. Small is quick on the defensive wend and can disrupt the rhythm of the opposing team's offense. Small has played well against some of the top guards in the state and has the ability to rise to the occasion. She has knocked down timely threes, made timely defensive plays, and shown composure against quality opponents. That experience has shown up big in the fall league and should play huge dividends this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='872292' first='Aiyana' last='Haynes'] has made a statement during the Fall League, showcasing her ability to handle the ball, work within the flow of the offense, and knock down shots from both midrange and beyond the three-point arc. Haynes has established herself as the team's top three-point shooter. She demonstrated that at the recent PGH Expo and continues to show her ability to knock them down from behind the arc. With three special penetrating guards and even a few forwards who can get downhill, Haynes is a dangerous weapon on drive-and-kick opportunities. Her outside shooting will also be valuable against zone defenses, where her ability to find open spots and connect from deep is a weapon.

[player_tooltip player_id='1320586' first='Tania' last='Washington'] played well, using her size to make an impact in the middle. Defensively, she showed versatility, applying pressure on the perimeter while also holding her ground against physical post players. Her speed allows her to get out in transition, fill the lanes, and create scoring opportunities on the fast break. Almon brings energy and a willingness to compete on both ends of the floor. Carter draws a lot of attention, and that allows her to get the ball to open players for quality looks. Carter has the speed and quickness, and those strengths will serve her well as she continues to develop on the high school stage.
