Her shooting stroke from deep and defensive intensity stood out, and she showed the confidence to perform under pressure. Rainah Small Rainah Small 5'9" | SF/SG Potters House Christian | 2028 State FL made a name for herself as a freshman with an eye-opening debut at the Inside Exposure Thanksgiving Tournament, where she fearlessly stepped onto the big stage and delivered with multiple threes against a defending state champion. Known for her perimeter shooting and defensive energy, Small proved early that she can impact games on both ends of the floor. She has lots of energy on the floor and is always around the ball. Now transferring from Potter’s House to Jackson, she is positioned for a breakout Sophomore campaign where her consistency and ability to shoot from the perimeter could elevate her team and solidify her reputation as one of the more dangerous young guards in North Florida.

Rainah Small Rainah Small 5'9" | SF/SG Potters House Christian | 2028 State FL had a good Freshman season,  one that started with a bang at the Inside Exposure Thanksgiving tournament.  Small stepped on the big stage and didn’t flinch.  She hit multiple three pointers against a defending State Championship team and went toe to toe against some other Freshmen in the State.  Small shot the three well and played great defense throughout the contest. She is poised for a breakout year that should see more consistent numbers and performances.

Smalls is an athletic and confident who doesn’t shy away from getting the ball in pressure moments. From making clutch free-throws in the final moment to taking it baseline and finishing a crafty and unconventional reverse lay-up, Smalls showed up “Big” against Gainesville. The young guard also made plays in the transition game and on the defensive end. She showed no fear and played well against the Senior guards on Gainesville, and she held her own.

The young and athletic forward displayed soft hands and showed the ability to put the ball down and get to the rim. She took a pass on the baseline, shook the defender, put the ball on the floor, attacked the rim, and drew the foul. That play was like “Kodak…worth a thousand words.”
