Over the past few days, we looked at some upperclassmen and underclassmen to see what this coming high school basketball season will bring. Today, we will look at some juniors for coaches to watch. The 2028 class has plenty of top-end talent, and there's depth. Let's look at some interesting prospects in the 2028 class, and we'll describe some of them this afternoon.

The St. Mary Catholic guard has become a crucial part of the Zephyrs over the past few seasons. Guerrero is a confident lead guard who can initiate her team's offense and get the best shot each time down the floor. I also loved how confident she is as a scorer. Her ability to create for herself and others will help the Zephyrs likely play in the second weekend and potentially beyond in the 2027 postseason.

The Columbus native has a knack for putting the ball in the basket. Venden is a creative guard who can attack off the dribble and create her own shot. The lefty has room to grow, but nothing has ever made her hesitate offensively. No matter who I've seen her play against, she gets to where she wants and can score from all three levels. I like how comfortable she is in uncomfortable situations, and she cares about playing winning basketball.

The Winneconne wing is a lefty who can space the floor and knock down perimeter jumpers. Reetz has played as a floor spacer alongside talented upperclassmen the last few seasons. She may have that role again in the 2026-27 campaign for the Wolves. However, she has the skill set to do some things off the dribble. She has shown she can attack aggressive closeouts and knock down mid-range pull-up jumpers. I think she has a side to her game we haven't seen yet, and I think she could surprise some people over the next few seasons. She will be a name to note in the 2028 class.

Anderson is a lead guard who may not always do something flashy, but she keeps everything simple in the best way possible. The lefty is a solid athlete who can defend on the perimeter and stay in front of her assignment. However, she has the IQ to make the right play each possession. She reads the game well, and her athleticism allows her to impact winning. She is also a creative guard who can get her teammates open looks offensively.
