They finished the season hovering around the .500 mark and are eager to compete this season with nearly their entire roster returning. Allison does a little bit of everything for her team and is a nice complimentary piece to two scoring machines in teammates [player_tooltip player_id='886322' first='Averi' last='Austreim'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1154050' first='Alex' last='Austreim']. She has a solid base and can push girls around near the basket. She cuts well and maintains space on the offensive end. She is a beast at putting her head down and getting to the basket and drawing fouls. Allison is an aggressive player on both sides of the ball.

Hadley recently committed to play college basketball at Valley City State University. The Vikings got a great player in Hadley. Her skillset will transfer nicely to the NAIA level. She is a very physically strong combo guard who has taken strength training seriously. Her strength allows her to drive hard to the basket with a quick and explosive first step. She has good body control on her drives and can finish through contact. She has a sweet looking jump-shot that can be deadly from extended range. The Belfield star found her college home and now can focus on enjoying her senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1220772' first='Ava' last='Beck'] is a college ready guard who will continue to rise in the rankings the more I watch her play. She is currently ranked 30th but will likely break the top 20 when the Winter Rankings release. She is a super steady point guard who can also play off of the ball. She gives Devils Lake a unique opportunity to play through her or teammate [player_tooltip player_id='933650' first='Tylie' last='Brodina'] and not skip a beat with handling the rock. She keeps the ball on a string and glides through the defense. She has good vision and pitches the ball ahead in transition. She can knock down shots when she sets her feet. Like many Firebird defenders, Ava is very good at anticipating steals and creating turnovers. Ava is a lot of fun to watch.

Bella played primarily JV last season but was able to earn a few spot minutes on the varsity. I was able to get eyes on Bella this summer when she was playing for [program_tooltip program_id='1246823' first='Sanford' last='Sports Academy']. I saw a lot of really nice things from her and her play near the basket. She has solid footwork and knows how and when to duck-in for position around the rim. She is a very physically strong athlete who isn't afraid to battle in the paint. She is a quality competitor and teammate who plays the game the right way. She is a great piece on one of the top teams in the state.

Lakyn was one of the first off of the bench on last season's 21-7 Century squad. She is someone opposing teams must have on their scout because of her prolific three-point shooting. She is an absolute sniper and can change the course of a game in a hurry. She does an outstanding job of finding gaps in the defense and hitting open shots. Her shooting ability pulls defenders close to her to create driving lanes for her teammates. Lakyn is an unselfish player who isn't afraid to make the 'one-more' pass to a teamamte for a great look. Johnson is a great player who is going to have a terrific senior season.
