And she will likely be even better in her upcoming junior season.

Burton is a double-double threat every time she hits the floor. Burton's game is physical, and that shows up in her ability to generate a ton of rebounds. Burton, both on offense and defense, routinely gets inside position. That allows her to high-point missed shots and get boards.

Offensively, Burton can score through contact and is good at scoring, especially at the right block. There she can lower her shoulder and do a power dribble and find herself with an ideal angle for a bucket often.

Alyssa Davis is set up for a memorable junior season, with the way she has performed during the summer hoops season.

Davis, at 5'10" and with a PG-like skill set, is a matchup problem for almost every team she goes against. She has elite dribbling skills and knows how to navigate the floor on the dribble extremely well. Any open space is a good shot opportunity for her. She can knock down shots from all 3-levels. Including a shot getting lost in basketball as the years go on, a mid-range jumper.

[player_tooltip player_id='822486' first='Hayes' last='Henderson'] versatile game with her size; could equate to a strong junior season.

Henderson has a balanced scoring game. She can spot up and knock down perimeter jumpers. But she also can battle with post players and generate points inside the paint. In the interior, Henderson's movement for her size, at 5'10", stands out. She has high-level start-and-stop speed and great lateral movement that gets her an advantage over most bigs in getting to scoring angles and rebounds.

One of Henderson's better games from last season that highlighted her skill set was against Franklin Road Academy. In the contest, she recorded a double-double.

[player_tooltip player_id='822483' first='Ava' last='Zenner'] was consistently the best player on the floor in the games she played in the 2025-2026 school season. And it should be more of the same in her junior year in the 2026-2027 school season.

Zenner is one of the most elite scorers in TN. Her 3-point shooting and ability to hit off-platform shots and makes it looks easy, equated to her having a number of eye-popping scoring numbers in her sophomore season. That includes a game against Columbia Academy where she scored 39.

Zenner can pull up from anywhere at any time with her under-control dribble and fast jumper. Her ability to quickly gather her feet and get into a shot plays an integral part in her being a high-scoring threat.

Zenner is also the type of player that, no matter how good a defense someone plays on her, she has the capability of playing better offense. Zenner also has great downhill speed and can score on either side of the basket with ease.

The Class A Middle Region District 3 is home to another top five-ranked player in the state, [player_tooltip player_id='792288' first='Makynli' last='Bacon'].

At 6'0" and with the ability to score at all three levels, teams did not know what to do against Bacon in her sophomore season. She has good touch and a repeatable perimeter jumper. But with that finesse part of her game, she still utilizes her strength and height to their fullest when attacking the basket, highlighting the physical part of her game.

Bacon can score on the drive and in the paint through contests and contact routinely. She is also an elite rebounder. Bacon has a great second jump that allows her to convert second-chance points at an uber-high level.
