Team Previews- Milton Union

As one of the top teams in the Three Rivers Conference, Milton Union brings back a very solid squad, including all-Ohio Michaela Firks. She has plenty of weapons with her as they look to go after a league championship, and make a deep tournament run.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

One of Ohio's top 50 seniors, Firks is a young lady who has really turned herself into a phenomenal all-around player. The top player in her league, Michaela does a fantastic job in all the aspects of the game. She's competitive at both ends of the floor, is a great leader and can score in multiple ways. She has next-level talent, but first unfinished business this season.

This sharp shooter should continue her impact with the Bulldogs, and likely add to her arsenal. She's a heady guard, plays the game smart and a good athlete. Like I said, she can knock down the three, can shoot well off the pass and has good handles.

Layla is one of the top 10 sophomores in the Dayton area as her game really has grown from last year to now. She really can take command of a game, she's agile with good footwork and can score at the rim. Can play both ends of the floor equally well, outstanding defender, and she has a very good IQ on the court making her a force. Her contributions should really elevate this season.

Stella is new to Prep Girls Hoops, asshe looks to be a good force in the paint as one of the post players for Milton Union. One of her strongest points is the ability to rebound the ball, which is crucial for this team. She also does a nice job finishing around the rim with good footwork and a soft finish. She scored a career high 12 last year against league opponent Riverside, for her the key is just be steady and do what she can do while continuing to learn the game.

Campbell Is another sophomore who continues to learn the varsity game. It's all about learning the speed and physicality and I think she's going to do a good job helping out a solid backcourt. She does a nice job with the ball in her hands, she sees the floor well and she is able to distribute with good passes. She's also a solid on-ball defender, which will help the Bulldogs in their style of game.
