Over 3.5 years of high school ball is logged in for a majority of these girls, and with their last AAU season wrapped up this past summer, winter ball is ahead. Some players are committed, others are going through their offers, and some players are locking up for a senior season that college coaches need to tune into. With only 60 players ranked for the senior class, these players are, in our opinion, some of the best college prospects (D1-D3).

KJ should hopefully be coming back this year from a summer setback, and when she does, you'll get to see the heart and energy of that Whitney Young program. On both sides of the ball, KJ demands attention. Defensively, you want to keep your best guard away from her, because it will be a long night. On the offensive end, you're going to get a player who can seamlessly bounce between a playmaking role and a scoring role.

Pure athletes usually do well at the next level, and Gartlan is one of them. She's a multi-sport athlete who seems to succeed in every situation she's in. Offensively, her ability to score from both outside and inside, along with her floor vision to make sharp passes, is key to her success. Defensively, she's tough—on the ball, she stays square and in your face, and off the ball, she's aware and active. High potential.

Nikki has been regarded as one of the top 3 point guards in the state since her freshman year. As the last uncommitted player in our top 10, she has over 20 Division I offers to consider, which tells us that her decision will be well thought out. She's a complete basketball player, that can create opportunities out of nothing. She has exceptional court vision, that allows her to map out where her teammates should be, and where they could be. She truly has a natural feel for the game. Her high basketball IQ, combined with some strong defensive skills, makes her a complete standout on both ends of the court.

Mazza has done a good job of putting herself in different roles on programs that showcase everything she can bring to a college team. From a scoring perspective, there's not much she can't do with the ball. Her handles are strong and solid, and her craftiness aligns perfectly with her athleticism. Defensively, she's as tough as you need your starting guard to be. Excited to see her back in a dominant role with Benet this year. Such a high ceiling.

There aren't many guards who have the handles and risk factor that Sara brings to the game. Being risky and confident is a great mix, and Sara has mastered that balance. She can make plays from all angles. On top of that, she's capable of putting up solid numbers in the scoring column, whether by attacking the rim, pulling up for a midrange shot, or letting it go from the three. Her ability to score while also being a playmaker makes her a dynamic threat on the court, and a key player to watch.
