Expert Analysis
Darvoni Christopher | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Yeater brings a valuable blend of size, physicality, and skill that continues to make her an important frontcourt prospect in Indiana’s 2027 class.
The Northridge power forward has established herself as a dependable interior presence who impacts games through rebounding, defense, and efficient scoring around the basket. Her willingness to battle inside and embrace physical play gives her team a strong foundation in the paint. Yeater possesses solid footwork around the rim and understands how to position herself effectively in the post. She consistently creates second-chance opportunities through offensive rebounding and displays good touch on finishes.
One area of growth that should attract attention this summer is her developing face-up game. As she continues adding versatility to her offensive arsenal, her value only increases. Defensively, Yeater protects the paint well and uses her size effectively to alter shots and control the glass. Coaches looking for a reliable frontcourt player who embraces physical basketball should have her firmly on their watch list this June.

When I was able to see her, I felt like Zoe had a nice June and July. She is a strong, physical athlete who loves to battle inside of 15-feet. She utilizes both her athleticism and strength well and always has double-double potential. She is honestly probably more of a post at the high school level, but because of her ability to come out on the floor and defend, she is more of a power forward prospect for the next level. If she can extend her range a little and work on her ball security around the perimeter, I think she’s definitely a ‘4’.

Zoe is one of those “unsung” heroes for most teams she plays on, but she has talent, skill, and the potential to be recruited by a lot of the Midwest’s better small colleges. She is strong, athletic, and plays with a great motor. She is willing to be physical, she plays bigger than she is around the rim, and she’s an active rebounder. As she continues to build her game from the mid-post to the perimeter, look for her to be even more difficult to defend.

Zoe got a small taste of Varsity action last year (limited minutes in 9 games played), but she could be a fixture along the Lady Raider frontline as a Sophomore. She has a strong frame for her age, she doesn’t mind physicality at all, she’s a nice all-around athlete, and she plays with an outstanding motor. She is the enforcing, rebounder/defender type who helps teams win games, but she does have some mid-post skill and the ability to finish through contact at the basket. With a little more polish, she could approach double-double averages.
