<p>Entering year #17 as the head coach of Badin, coach Tom Sunderman, he looks to continue the success he has enjoyed over the last four years, where he won four consecutive district titles and amassed 83 wins. He has also advanced to the regional finals all of those years, and now that Badin is Division Three, they look to take a step further this season. </p>

<p>They won 20 games last season and knocked off Urbana in a game that reflected back to the 1990s when Urbana beat Badin out of 3 regionals. Also during the last four years, Badin has lost to three eventual state champions.</p>

Both of them are closing in on 1,000 career points heading into the season. Six of their top players return for this season.</p>

<p>A prolific pure shooter, she is drawing attention of colleges at a variety of levels. She is a quick player who can get her shot off quickly and consistently. She knocked down a state record 14 threes in a game last season and finished the season with 95.</p>

<p>One of the top pure athletes in Ohio, she is a great slasher and uses her size at the guard spot to create mismatches. She has a great ability to control the boards and is a very good floor leader. Committed to Cincinnati for soccer.</p>

<p>Cosgrove has a chance to be the all-time leading scorer in school history with a good year, she is 419 points short of the record. That's more than the Badin boys record, which is 1,229 (John Richter '89, who then played at the University of Dayton). Only five other Badin players have scored 1,000 points in their career. </p>
