West Delaware High School is going to return this season after finishing last Winter with a 10-13 record. To lead their charge, they will have all three of their top producers back to help them put together a positive season. Their Junior leader, that will be an impactful Varsity prospect once again is SG - [player_tooltip player_id='1055345' first='Norah' last='Peyton']. Peyton comes in around 5'6, she is a someone that communicates well with those around her, she is a fantastic teammate, and her numbers are pretty decent. As a Sophomore, Peyton averaged just over 5 PPG on 35% shooting from the field and 4-5 RPG. I'm expecting a little bit more out of Peyton with these numbers this Winter though. If she worked hard this off-season, it'll show almost immediately and I can't wait to see that first hand in a few weeks.

...I am a little late to the party with this one but [player_tooltip player_id='1055349' first='Colette' last='Loges'] of Forest City High School is a coordinated baller, that possesses every ability to compete at the college level, once she finishes off her high school career. Loges was a top dawg last season on her Varsity team and that should be the story throughout this next six months. Loges can handle the ball, finish in the plethora of different ways at the hoop, while also being able to score at every other offensive level. Not to mention, she is a stout defender, that gets a ton of steals off of tips/deflections with her combination of active feet and natural instincts. Overall, there is a lot to like about Loges from a recruiting standpoint. Simple as that.

Burlington High School is going to have a few prospects standout this Winter at the Varsity level. One of them being 5'5 guard, [player_tooltip player_id='1055352' first='Sophie' last='Brown']. Brown isn't going to kill you with any crazy ability but she is a sound prospect, that could make some positives happen out on the hardwood. Brown is a multi-sport and multi-state competitor, as it pertains to her athletic ability. She is someone that has made State in a handful of other competitive events throughout her high school career and she is always bringing that intensity to the basketball court.

[player_tooltip player_id='896422' first='Addison' last='Merritt'] of Springville High School has been an individual that has shown promise, at a better than average level over the past year and she is ready to take that big stride this upcoming season. Merritt is someone that moves around the perimeter, to whichever spot is needed from her team in that specific moment. She is a player that might not blow you away in her individual movement but if you forget about her, she will have an easy 10, 7, and 5 in a hurry. Springville is going to be able to thrive once again this season with their dominating post presence, [player_tooltip player_id='595151' first='Rowan' last='Jacobi']. If everyone else can work off of that, they will put together a year to remember and Merritt will be a major piece to that.

[player_tooltip player_id='896461' first='Mya' last='Hillers'] may of been in our system prior to this article but we haven't really touched on the impact she could make for her Senior season at CPU this Winter. Hillers is a 5'9 Forward, that moves around like a "Swiss-army knife", in a lot of ways. She is one of the taller, more physical players on her team, so she can handle the middle of the paint at a solid rate but she is also agile enough to move to the outside and attack her opponent from different angles, from a distance. Defensively, she can stick with all different type of players, basically being able to guard anyone but a true Center over 6'1/6'2. CPU will return an interesting line-up with a lot of potential. If the coaching staff goes about it the right way and everyone locks in, they should do really well for the 2024-2025 high school season.
