showed variety in her game on Friday and made good decisions on both sides of the ball. Hillers really knows how to position herself on the floor for success — she seals well, will attack the help-side to draw multiple defenders, and finds the open player when she is double-teamed. The 5’10” forward showed off her footwork and offensive skillset across the floor on Friday, including with a jab step to leave a defender behind and a shot fake on the perimeter for an open drive to the rim. Later in crunch time, Hillers drew two defenders on a strong seal and kicked out to a teammate for a big-time three pointer. Defensively, Hillers did a great job executing in different positions. Whether she was stepping out to trap on the perimeter or holding down the paint in CPU’s press, I was impressed with Hillers’ mobility and utility.

is a versatile scorer that can drive, shoot, post up, and finish with her back to the basket. The power forward does most of her work in the paint but lit it up from deep multiple times last season, including a five three pointer night against West Delaware. Hillers is a great cutter and knows how to finish with speed, and has the skill to finish through double teams or around taller defenders. She averaged 10.4PPG last year and has the opportunity to headline her Pointers squad as a senior.

was recently mentioned in an article as someone that we need to talk about more moving into her Senior season. Hillers, is a multiple sport athlete, that is going to have a chance to play multiple sports in college. As of most recent for Hillers, she has received an offer from Simpson College (IA) to continue on both the Basketball court and Softball diamond. Its not every day that you see someone competing in two sports for their collegiate career but it could happen her. If Hillers had to pick, I think she would stick with Softball as she seems like a real killer on the diamond but who knows? I’m sure we will have our answer to her commitment soon enough.

may of been in our system prior to this article but we haven’t really touched on the impact she could make for her Senior season at CPU this Winter. Hillers is a 5’9 Forward, that moves around like a “Swiss-army knife”, in a lot of ways. She is one of the taller, more physical players on her team, so she can handle the middle of the paint at a solid rate but she is also agile enough to move to the outside and attack her opponent from different angles, from a distance. Defensively, she can stick with all different type of players, basically being able to guard anyone but a true Center over 6’1/6’2. CPU will return an interesting line-up with a lot of potential. If the coaching staff goes about it the right way and everyone locks in, they should do really well for the 2024-2025 high school season.

works hard. She is a prospect at the guard position, that works on and off of the ball, usually producing in one way or another throughout a contest. This weekend has been a great example of all of that. Hillers has been leading some games in scoring, she has been leading her team in rebounding, and she has been active on both ends of the floor at a steady rate for the most part. I’m expecting her to finish out this weekend strong and take that momentum into the rest of this AAU season. If she can do that, she will be primed for a competitive Winter at CPU High School in the grand scheme of things.
