is leading their offense.
Weston is coming off a scorching performance against Bryant, putting up 30 points, with 22 of them coming in the second half. She is a dynamic scorer who is hard to stop when she sees a lane to the basket. Weston can easily pull up for a runner, but she is lethal from deep as well.
I’m going to reference that Bryant game again because she was ultra clutch in that performance. She scored 11 points in the 4th quarter alone, which led her team to victory. Her clutch play extends to the defensive end as well, able to come up with big-time stops late in the clock.

hoop twice last season, and now I have been watching her AAU highlights. It is safe to say, once Weston returns as the starting point guard for the Lady Wampus Cats next season, she will be better than ever.
Weston had a tremendous sophomore season, averaging 12 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals per game. She was active on both ends of the floor all night, and it was never easy to keep her off the floor at any stage of the game.
The star guard is a fantastic finisher who can seemingly convert at the rim against any competitor, whether a guard or a center. One of the new elements of her game that she has added this offseason with Team ISO has been her pull-up mid-range jumper. She can hit this shot consistently off the bounce and in the lane, even showing that she can stop on a dime and hit the jumper in transition.

can hit from inside and outside, make plays for others, rebound at a high level, and make life difficult for the other team on the defensive end. She made her presence felt in every game I saw her in, and I doubt that changes in 2025-26.

is not the highest riser in this ranking, but her rise is one of the most notable, moving into the #2 spot from the #4 spot.
I got to watch Weston this past season as I was the play-by-play commentator for Little Rock Central basketball. She was great in their first meeting of the season, but she played even better in their second meeting. Weston consistently showed poise under pressure, giving teammate Samyah Jordan much-needed relief in initiating the offense.
Weston can hit outside shots, but she is deadly when she is able to find a crease in the defense and attack the basket. Conway’s star guard has great court vision, being able to find cutters and open shooters, even in traffic. She is also a devastating defender, forcing turnovers left and right, wreaking havoc against any opponent.

is no longer playing with the AAU club All Arkansas Red; she is now with Team ISO, and she is balling out. If she continues to do so, she will have more than her UAPB offer.

‘s first year as a starter, she excelled. She moved into the top 5, and for good reason.
The guard was named to the 6A Central all-conference team and was also a 6A all-state selection. Weston was a pest on defense all season long, stripping ball-handlers and poking away passes, turning them into easy points. She made excellent plays on offense throughout the season as well.
Weston proved to be a dangerous shooter, whether that was from three or the mid-range. She also proved that she was even better at driving to the bucket and finishing through contact. The guard knows how to draw contact, frustrating defenses every time a whistle blew.

is the present and future of this Conway team. Despite the Lady Wampus Cats losing their senior leadership, which made up quite a bit of their roster, fans of the white and blue should feel just fine with this star leading the way.

was the most consistent Wampus Cat in their game against Central. She played like the #6 player in the sophomore class, outplaying some of her senior teammates.
Weston had a team-high 16 points to go along with 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block. I was surprised that she only had 1 steal, because she probably had double-digit deflections and forced a number of turnovers because of her defensive pressure.
Weston was also Conway’s go-to ball-handler throughout the night. She facilitated the offense well and she initiated contact on her drives, forcing the officials to consistently call fouls.
I was very impressed with Weston’s performance against Central, as she played with a level of maturity that most other underclassmen guards do not exhibit.

was one of the toughest players on the court last night. She performed through injury, played hard defense, and impacted her team positively.
Weston was Conway’s fourth double-digit scorer with 10. She added 2 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block. She hit 1 3-pointer and 3 free throws in addition to her several fastbreak layups. In regards to her passing, she put passes right on the money, finding shooters as soon as they got open.
Her play on the defensive side was impressive. She did not cause as many turnovers as some of her teammates, but she deflected passes and forced opposing ball-handlers to make some bad decisions.

, she was named the Sick of Sickle Cell Player of the Game after her strong performance against Newcastle High School out of Oklahoma. She also had a 13-point performance in Conway’s big win over Huntington after Christmas.
Weston is a strong two-way player. She is threat to force turnovers on nearly every possession. She plays hard on that end and uses active hands. Weston can break away for a steal and take it the other way for easy baskets.
Transition points are a big chunk of Weston’s scoring output, but she can also score points in bunches in the halfcourt setting. She is a fantastic shooter who can get it going from both the mid-range and from beyond the arch. If she is chased off the 3-point line, then she can slash inside and finish against tough defense.

‘s future is incredibly bright. She comes in at #6 on the 2027 ranking, but she may very well find herself in the top 5 before long.
Weston was offered by the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff back in July, and that was before she even played a game as a sophomore. I am sure UAPB is happy with their offer now, considering Weston has been a two-way star for Conway.
Conway has the best senior depth in the state, but Weston’s play has earned her a large role amongst the veteran talent. She plays very aggressively on the defensive side of the ball. She picks up the opposing ball-handler all 84-feet, and often picking their pockets when they least expect it.
Weston’s offense is versatile. She can play well on the interior with her tough finishing ability. Her solid ball-handling allows her to get to multiple spots on the floor, where she can pull up for a jumpshot, which she usually cashes in on with her smooth release. Considering the offensive firepower from this Conway team, Weston does not always need the ball in her hands. She can make plays for others, but she is great at cutting without the basketball, making herself an easy target for her teammates to find underneath.
