Hannah Glisson - Graves County HS (Mayfield, KY)

Glisson caught our eye on the opening day vs Carvers Bay HS (SC). Hannah finished the game with 18 points in the win over the Lady Bears. Glisson a crafty point guard really knows how to set up the table for her squad. She was able to make crisp passes and get by defenders with a quick first step. Hannah is a pass first point guard who really enjoys playing on both sides of the floor. She takes a lot of pride on defending on the ball. She helped her squad win the Kay Yow Division at the 26th Annual Girls Beach Ball Classic this past weekend.

The Northridge HS (Dayton, OH) Polar Bears finished the weekend at (0-3) at the Beach Ball Classic in Myrtle Beach. The one bright spot was the play of Junior forward [player_tooltip player_id='538050' first='Jayah' last='Martin']. Martin finished with 22 points in the loss to Franklin County HS. Prep Girls Hoops saw her play earlier at the Beach Ball Classic against University HS (Charleston, WV). Martin does a nice job of finishing around the bucket and using both hands in the process. She was able to fill the lane in transition. She did all of her scoring within 4 feet of the cup.

Senior shooting guard Arayiah McLemore had some bright moments with her game this weekend. McLemore has a good-looking stroke and a quick release from downtown. Arayiah has good length to play active in the passing lanes. At times this weekend she did play a bit passive at shooting the ball which I surely didn't want to see.
