2027 Rankings Release – Best Bigs

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>2027 has a handful of very talented forwards and posts. A lot of these players are able to score incredibly efficiently for only being sophomores. She plays extremely hard and is always one of the best athletes out on the floor. What I appreciate the most about Jordan is how competitive she is. When you watch her you can tell how much she wants to win and that she is willing to do whatever it takes to help her team win. She is a great outside shooter, currently shooting 45% from behind the arc. Jordan was an All-Conference selection last season and will find herself on that team the remainder of her career. It seems like she gobbles up every offensive rebounding opportunity and gets so many easy put-back layups. She is a great athlete with long arms which makes her hard to keep off the glass. She is also an exceptional defender and defensive rebounder. She was an All-Region selection last season and is easily going to make that team again this year. I predict she will have a shot at making an All-State team at some point in her career. She plays reserve minutes due to Legacy having the top post in the state in Brooklynn Felchle. On basically any other team Sadie would be a starter. She is a true 6'3 and runs the floor exceptionally well. Each game I watch she seems to be a little bit better at finding position around the rim. As she progresses throughout high school, she will continue to gain strength and will be a force down low. She is a great college prospect due to her size and athleticism. Sienna is an agile post who is able to play inside and outside. She has a soft touch to her jump-shot and has been working on increasing her range. She is going to be a very good player come her junior and senior season. I think Sienna will have a great chance of earning All-District and All-Region awards in her high school career. She is a long 5'10 and does a really nice job of using her body to seal for position around the rim. She does a great job of running the floor and plays extremely hard. She is knowledgeable in her half-court defense, sliding over as a secondary defender and contesting drives. Olivia is averaging 11.7 points per game and is her team's leading rebounder with 7.8 per game. I am impressed with her defense and soft touch around the rim. She is her team's third best rebounder at 4.3 rebounds per game. Makena has a frame and athletic ability where she can turn herself into a very solid high school basketball player. She runs so well for a forward and is exceptional with her timing and jumping. She is a capable offensive player, running Park River's high-low offense well. But she really shines on the defensive end. She moves naturally to the correct defensive positions as the ball is swung around the perimeter. She fills-and-sinks on baseline drives and is an unbelievable secondary defender, blocking or altering many shots. She is a great rebounder, pursuing boards with conviction.
