Future Stars: 2028 High School Basketball Prospects

Not only do you have to master the skills to excel personally, but you gotta compete with the person in front of you. It's how the cream rises to the top. You have to fall in love with the process to be good and the work you put in outside of the required practice times makes a ton of difference in the ball player you will become. That's why to be good you have to love what you do.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In the 2028 class, there are a ton of young ladies who will be pretty darn good when it's all said and done. This class as a whole is super tough. Yes they are young and are in the middle of coming onto the high school scene their first year. Just keep in mind once everything clicks for them, this class will be a pretty good crop of collegiate prospects down the stretch.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Now, that's just my guess. But I am speaking that into existence because I have seen some pretty decent 28s over the past few months. This has been from various settings such as varsity games, JV games, camps, training, the circuit, ect. Some may have opportunities now, some may be on stout ball clubs where their opportunities will come later. She has seen some valuable minutes for the Lady Eagles. Has a pretty release that she will unleash from the arc, isn't afraid to put it on the floor and go get a bucket. She's a three level scoring threat who is starting to fall in love with the process of being good. She has what it takes to help reload this Lady Eagles program. This kid gets after it point blank. Her confidence has grown as she has seen the floor early in her career. Jada can knock it down from 3, but it's her ability to get trash buckets (offensive rebounds), she just has a knack for being around the ball. I will say this too, don't fall asleep on her defense. She reads and reacts well, getting steals, deflections, and finishes hustle plays. Sharpshooter, this kid is always in sniper mode when she plays. She has tight handles that enable her to put it on the floor. She can dime up teammates, defend, and just contribute at every phase of the game. When she is in there, things pick up right where they left off. Must be something about this area because Bri is another one of those dynamic guards who can do all things. She can score from multiple spots on the floor, put it on the deck and get to the rim, knock down 3s shooting it with confidence, and defend like crazy. That's where she makes her money on the defensive end. She is a solid PG who isn't done molding her game. With hardwork and opportunity, she will be a solid PG that will carry on the tradition of successful guards in the area. She can stretch the floor if need be, finish around the rim solidly, be used in the pick and pop action, and rebound like crazy. The more opportunities she gets, the more comfortable she will be.
