Solid ballplayer who can get to the rim and finish. Possesses a nice set of handles, a solid distributor, and is a selfless player who makes good reads. An attribute of hers that is overlooked is her ability to dial it up from deep. Given any type of daylight, the ball is going to go in the hole more often than not. A solid defender who brings a tremendous work ethic to the squad.

One step at a time, this young lady has transformed her game into one that opponents must respect. She can beat you off the dribble and get to the paint or dial it up from 3; she finds the bottom of the net at a consistent clip. She’s a solid distributor, handles the rock with poise. Defensively, she gets after it, keeping her girl in front, contributing on the boards. As she continues to put it all together, she is building herself into a prospect coaches will love to add to their program.

Sophomore Karlie Everette Karlie Everette 5'7" Hickman County | 2028 State TN submitted herself as one of the best three-point shooters in her class in the regular season. Her high-level shooting should continue into Hickman County’s regional tourney play.

Everette, in Hickman’s district tournament opener against Lewis County, had 19 points. She then had 11 in the title game against Riverside High School.

Everette’s ability to move off the ball and capitalize on shooting chances from long range when she gets them will be big in the success Hickman County has in the regional tournament.

Before Karlie Everette Karlie Everette 5'7" Hickman County | 2028 State TN ‘s sophomore season even started, it was clear she was an elite shooter.

Everrete back in late September particpated in the TN Prep Girls Hoops Expo. There she was knocking down threes consistently, all across the perimeter, and that same skillset has also made its way to the court in her games for Hickman County High School.

Everette this season has made a total of 47 threes in 20 recorded games on a 37% avarege. She has had multiple games with four or more made threes, including two games within the last 30 days against Lawrence County and Camden Central High School. Against Lawrence, she had six makes, and against Camden, she had five.

A confident kid who is a silent killer. Once the ball starts to go in, it is hard to slow her down. She can work out, unleashing a nice bag of ball-handling moves that enable her to get into her shooting motion quickly or attack downhill. She competes and is someone who will give you buckets. I like her ability to assess the defense and then find a way to exploit it. Look for her to help the Lady Bulldogs of Hickman County reach new heights and play a big part throughout their journey.

Sophomore Karlie Everette Karlie Everette 5'7" Hickman County | 2028 State TN was one of the standout players at the Prep Girls Expo event in TN, and maybe the best shooter.

In the three-on-three session in one game, she had a couple of threes she made from well behind the arc. Because of her shooting ability, her pump fake draws a lot of attention, which she showed she could create off of with a drive in floater or layup.

Even when Everette does not have the ball, she draws a lot of attention when sitting behind the arc. This helps give space for other guards and bigs to create, which was noticeable at the event.

A hard-working individual who is a gym rat. A dedicated athlete who is ready to showcase her skills. A tough competitor who can score on all 3 levels. She can break a defender down and get to the rim or launch it from way beyond the arc with confidence. She isn’t just an offensive threat, but contributes on the defensive end as well. Look for her to come out and be a staple in the Bulldogs’ lineup this upcoming season.

This hooper is about to show the state what her game is all about. A fearless competitor who is willing to fight tooth and nail for her club. She can score from all 3 levels, make timely passes, and contribute on the defensive end. She has a nice iso game, where she will showcase her handles to set up her defender as she makes a move towards the basket or nails a shot attempt. A heady ballplayer who strives to be great and stays in the gym. Look for her to give her all and help raise the stock of the Lady Bulldogs this year. 

This young lady is about to have a breakthrough year. From handling the basketball to putting it in the hoop, this kid is fearless and is going to do whatever it takes to help her ball club win. A selfless ballplayer who has been grinding away in the gym to get better. Her goal is to help change the course of the Hickman Co. program and help steer it in the right direction. Keep tabs on this young lady as she is about to make everyone take notice and remember her name.

 This young lady has grown in confidence and you can see it in her game. Karlie has a nice/ lethal jumper that she will display from multiple spots on the floor. This kid can score the rock and she does so at a consistent clip. She can break down a defender with her ball handling or play off-ball and come off screens. Given a little space, the ball is going to touch the bottom of the net. She plays hard on D and will contribute in multiple statistical categories. She is a solid two-way option that will be an intricate part of the Lady Bulldogs’ attack this upcoming season.
