West Potomac beat Woodson in an important game for both teams. This game was competitive, and this puts West Potomac in a position where they are still at arm's length with Robinson for the District lead. [player_tooltip player_id='644092' first='Abby' last='Beddis'] had a big second half for West Potomac. Abby is a great shooter who understands where to be.
Ava Wu created a lot of offense for James Madison in their game against Centreville. She handled the ball a lot and made a handful of nice passes. Ava is an elite shooter and can get her own off the bounce. In the first half, she played off the ball a lot. Centreville face guarded her a lot, and even with her constant off-ball movement, it made it tough to get good looks. In the second half, she initiated almost all of Madison's offense. Ava knocked down a couple of threes, using screens off the dribble, and knocked down a handful of tough shots moving to her right. Ava had a great showing, even in a loss.
