A good shooter that is a true combo guard! Quick with a strong with the ball has great athletic traits that helps her consistently drive to the basket. A high IQ player that can guard all over the floor that understands defensive responsibilities on the floor! Headed to play committed to play D2 but has division one athleticism. 

Malia is deceptively quick with the ball and uses both hands equally well. She has good range knocking down shots from beyond the arc and is an excellent decision maker on the floor. I was most impressed by her leadership, matching her teammates up during substitutions and getting players in position. She is unselfish but has the ability to take over games if she wanted.

Malia shown a pretty complete game this winter. She is one of the under the radar players that should make a big rise in the rankings and on college coaches draft boards. For those paying attention she hasn’t shown many weaknesses in her game and will be a good get for any program.
