Elif Benzer reached an impressive 1,000 career points this week as a Junior at Greenwood Laboratory School, showcasing her skill and dedication on the court. This milestone solidifies her as one of the school’s top athletes.

Jaklaya Hunter is currently the top scorer in Illinois, averaging 31 points per game. This week, she put on an amazing display, scoring 48 and 52 points in back-to-back games. Her outstanding performances helped her team secure a spot in the CPL Blue Division city playoffs.
KK has been on fire as she finishes out the season, leading her team to a 13-1 record in region play. In her most recent game, she scored 27 points, grabbed 9 rebounds, and tallied 6 steals. The game before, she posted 17 points, 3 assists, and 3 steals.

Josie’s hard work is paying off. In one night, she played 8 quarters, scoring 16 points in the JV game and 20 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals in the varsity game. The radio announcers even said she “took over” the game! She was named Player of the Game, and her story was shared by the local sports coverage page. Her dedication to improving her skills is clearly showing!
The freshman varsity starter had a career-high game this week, leading her team to a 61-30 win. She scored 33 points, making 10 of 12 field goals and 4 of 7 three-pointers. She also added 5 steals, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists.

Haileigh put on an incredible performance in the opening round of Sectional 56, scoring a standout 35 points and grabbing 7 rebounds. Her dominant play was key in leading her team to a decisive victory, setting the tone for what promises to be an exciting postseason run!

Jenna was unstoppable in her game against #4 Bishop Garrigan (Class 1A), putting up 29 points, 19 rebounds, 4 steals, and 1 assist to lead her team to a dominant 63-37 win! This impressive win pushes her team’s record to an outstanding 19-1!

She was on fire against Tooele, scoring a season-high 18 points, including 2 three-pointers! Add in 3 steals, 1 rebound, and a 50% shooting performance from the field, and it’s clear she had a game to remember!
