If anyone believes a smaller school equates to a smaller skill set, Blakelie continues to prove otherwise. She put in significant offseason work, and it shows clearly in her game. She’s a true utility player who can impact the floor from anywhere and has the confidence to pull from well beyond the three-point line. As offenses continue to be built around her over the next few seasons, her growth should accelerate, and Millard could find itself in serious contention by the time her tenure is complete.

Millard’s game plan has long run through Blakelie, and that won’t change anytime soon. She’s a proven scorer who can put the ball in the hoop from anywhere on the floor and at nearly any position.

Small school prospect with a big game. Her shooting and quickness has all been improving. Really like the riunners she has added to her game and those pull-up 15-footers. That extra dimension is what will allow her to continue to keep defenders off balance.

Blakelie represented AIM last weekend at PGH Chaos in Colorado. She’s a fun player to watch as she knows how to get downhill. She can get by defenders and has a pivot-hook that helps her get rid of the defense.

Blakelie was among the top scorers in her class and she averaged almost 16 PPG. Blakelie is talented when she gets downhill and she has some speed and you mix those two together and that creates a great scorer and creator. She has a big spring and summer ahead of her. Davies has that all-around game that will help her put up solid numbers year after year.

The freshman varsity starter had a career-high game this week, leading her team to a 61-30 win. She scored 33 points, making 10 of 12 field goals and 4 of 7 three-pointers. She also added 5 steals, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists.
