This marks the final week of the public school regular season and the final week of the Division ll-AA regular season. However, this week begins Division ll-A district play. So a lot is going on in the state of Tennessee.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Despite what's at stake, our kids are still battling, finishing strong as we come down to the wire. So much is on the line and none of our kids display that quitter mentality. Her team dominated Monterey but it was her performance that's one for the record books. She finished with 47 points, which is a program record. She knocked down 15 threes, which is tied for second most in TSSAA history. I told you the Dragonettes were on a mission. She finished with 25 points on Tuesday night, making 4 threes in the contest. Chloe is an all-star signee for Carson Newman who can get it done on both ends of the floor. She can shoot it but also do work on the interior. Add in her ability to grab boards and block shots, she's hard to beat. She had a double-double finishing with 20 pts and 10 rebounds in her club's win over Carter. What's most impressive about her performance is that she had eight steals as well. That's all energy, effort, and heart. Performances like this will get you noticed quickly by coaches. This is why she is one of the top kids in her class. She dropped 18 points and led the Wolverines to victory. She was active on both ends of the floor as her hustle and effort were on display. This heady ball player found gaps to exploit and finished plays on both ends of the floor. You can never count a team out as long as Hil is on the floor. She's the energizer bunny and her teammates feed off her energy. She led the team with 17 points. She was getting her points in multiple ways: from 3, getting to the rim, from the free throw line. What stood out was her ability to play solid D, get rebounds, and disrupt Bartlett's offense.
