WDA – State Prediction Part 1

She is a great defender and tall guard at 5'9. She plays really hard and fits in great with the offensive sets that Minot runs. She spaces the floor with her outside shooting ability. She has done an exceptional job and is very steady for a player that is only a sophomore. She is super skilled with the ball and it is difficult to turn her over. She is averaging over 10 points per game and shooting an unbelievable 46% from behind the arc. She was ready for her opportunity. She is an aggressive player and not afraid to drive in hard on bigger girls. She has an array of finishes to make baskets over those bigger girls. The likely Gatorade Player of the Year is having another unbelievable season. She can score inside and out and is an incredible force wherever she is. She is super tough and physical. At 5'10, she is able to compete with posts around the rim and has great strength with her positioning. She is an above average shooter and can knock down the three. She is averaging just under 10 points per game and plays the game with great poise. I like how hard she competes defensively and her ability to handle the ball. She is probably the best defender in the entire state. Her length and athleticism allows her to defend anyone of any size and position. She can defend multiple positions and plays really hard. She has great active hands when she is guarding the ball. She leads her team in deflections and steals. It is great to have a player that is locked in defensively. She is their best perimeter shooter and shots a great percentage at 40%. She is able to space the floor and is someone opposing defenses always have to know where she is. This allows other players whose game might be more of a driver to get to the basket or drive and kick. The best part of her offensive game is her ability to drive to the basket. She is a strong and athletic guard who has great body control on her drives. She is a skilled ball-handler and does a good job against pressure defense.
