If you’ve had a chance to watch Davis, you’ve seen the tools she brings to the floor. This upcoming season presents an opportunity for her to establish herself among the state’s rising players. A guard with the basketball IQ coaches value, Davis reads the floor well and knows how to lead an offense. Her ability to attack the basket and create opportunities continues to stand out. As she begins a new chapter at Racine St. Catherine’s, I look forward to watching her make an immediate impact.
The Racine St. Catherine’s guard is an athletic player who can make plays anywhere on the floor. Davis is a solid athlete who gets up and down the floor well in transition. I love the pride she takes in defending the ball and keeping her assignment in front of her. She will also help force live-ball turnovers on the defensive end and allow her team to run in transition. She can help swing games.
Audrena was a major reason her team finished the weekend undefeated. Her poise and control immediately stood out, as she never seemed rushed or sped up at any point. More than anything, she played like a guard who truly understands what the game needs from her. I saw her make an impact both on and off the ball. Playing off the catch, she did a great job attacking closeouts, getting downhill, and finishing at the rim. When defenders were late closing out, she made them pay from three. With the ball in her hands, her poise showed up in another way through her ability to get into the paint and play under control off two feet. Defensively, Audrena competed at a high level and consistently did a good job of keeping the ball in front. She was one of the more steady and impactful guards I watched all weekend.
