5 Class AA NEPSACGBA All-Star Selections

With the season winding down there's been a lot of news to report on around the region. There's definitely been some exceptional performers on the season in NEPSAC. Class AA itself has immensely gifted teams constructed with some top-level talent. They're about to take the gloves off as they fight for a championship and this is an ideal time to highlight the premier players. These are 5 of the recently announced AA All-Star selections. [player_tooltip player_id='296964' first='Saige' last='Youngberg'] (2025) | 5'6 PG | Worcester   Worcester just earned the #2 spot in the NEPSAC tournament as well as a bye. Although they have a plethora of high caliber players that've lent a hand in the successful season, Youngberg is one of the frontliners of the squad. She deserves credit for the consistency as she led her team to triumph. The senior guard is a phenomenal playmaker that has a pass-first mentality. Her willingness to pass the ball leads to great offensive flow. Saige's handle is crafted well and her setup moves leave defenders unsure of themselves. Youngberg creates tough angles that are hard for any caliber of defender to recover from. Excited to see how she contributes to the postseason push.     [player_tooltip player_id='490485' first='Zariah' last='Ottley'] (2027) | 5'7 Wing | NMH   Zariah is a terrific versatile player with many abilities. The tough sophomore plays physical and her effort given on the floor is a staple for her team. The determination on rebounds allows the team to have extra possessions in critical moments. Ottley works well from many areas and finds ways to affect the game within the developed halfcourt sets. She sees the floor fantastically, regularly finding the shooters or open cutters. Her strong frame allows her to absorb contact as she drives plus it translates to the defensive side of the ball. Her ability to move her feet while up in engagement with ballhandlers prove to be stately through the course of the game. With the impressive play through the season, there'll be a lot of factors to weigh in the upcoming '27 rankings.     [player_tooltip player_id='967273' first='Tiffany' last='Burns'] (2027) | 5'9 PG | Austin Prep   The dynamic point has played with a majestic pace and rhythm that has allowed her to be highly effective. This season she's been regularly getting double-digit scoring numbers along with a high number of assists. Tiffany has a tricky handle to pluck, plus she has quick reaction skills. Her reflexes are well-developed, so the counters are near second nature. One look at Burns and its clear how special of a point guard talent she is.     [player_tooltip player_id='987560' first='Grace' last='Minihane'] (2025) | Wing | NMH   Minihane has had a mighty year after deciding to reclass. The experience has shown to be in her favor with her consistent and efficient style of play. This is a high-powered player that picks her spots wisely as well as demonstrating the propensity to have great poise within the lane. Grace is a sturdy 2-way wing that plays with great passion. Her inclination to make the right play on defense or offense is noteworthy. The senior has been striking this season.     [player_tooltip player_id='486083' first='Bella' last='Miele'] (2026) | 5'6 CG | Marianapolis   Bella has been absolutely stunning to watch. The crafty point guard has a bag full of tricks and has been able to affect the game as a playmaker as well as a scorer. She catches defenders off balance on a regular basis and capitalizes on the defense's mistakes. The influence on the game is immense. She's a tough cover for anyone in isolation or broken-down plays where she's able to showcase her individual matchup skills. Within the offense, her blazing speed makes it hard for defenses to stop her from getting to her spots. She's a carefree initiator that penetrates the defense causing rippling effects. As a shooter, she remains lethal too. Miele may be one of the best pullup shooters in the class along with being one best closeout attackers. As a defender herself though, the speed can pose a problem for opposing guards. She can be blitzing which tend to lead to sloppy plays. The mishaps get easily exploited by her and lead to quick turnovers. Overall, Miele has been one of the most fun guards to watch in the region this year.
