Tiffany is extremely quick with the ball in her hands, using her speed and strength to lower her shoulder and push past defenders on her way to the basket. She displays impressive athleticism in her finishes, showing hang time and the ability to score through contact. Tiffany is also able to stop on a dime and get her shot off smoothly, making her a tough player to guard in transition or the half court.

My fellow Methuen native is a point guard who plays fast and aggressive. She can blow by defenders and finish in traffic, but what stands out is how she continues to improve as a playmaker—seeing the floor, finding shooters, and setting up teammates. D1 programs are already taking notice, and she’s more than earned the hype.

. Tiffany has a major target to get some assist to as she pierces the lane. The highly ranked point guard plays aggressively in pick & roll possessions; her aptitude for probing and playmaking in rapid-fire situations should be noted. Her high-powered efforts have been resulting in a few double-doubles this month. Even when Autin Prep was hitting their slumps, Tiffany stayed true to her game, remaining aggressive and still a very worthy watch. The lively point is developing very nicely plus she’s producing sizable volume.

Austin Prep suffered a tough loss to Newman the other day, but Tiffany had herself a stirring performance. Burns’ 16 pts, 6 rebs and 5 ast kept the team within distance, even though they ultimately suffered the defeat. Her ability to be a playmaker while engaging the defense with her dual attack made her a tough assignment. Tiffany’s skillful performance was certainly notable. Burns has been essential for Austin Prep all season and that should stay true by reason of her range of talent. She’s one of the premier players in the class.

What a terrific point guard Burns is. She is the #1 player at the position and for good reason. She’s incredibly shifty, with a sense of heightened aggressive downhill force. Her feel for the game is extraordinary. Tiffany is fast and dynamic with the ball in her hands. The ball handling is essentially on a string, so she can freely move around the floor without limitations. She’s a 3-level scorer that isn’t afraid of big moments either. She has the daring qualities to take over games and she is very confident with the ball in her hand. There just aren’t too many guards that can produce the way she does. She raises the ceiling of play on the floor.
Burns has a couple offers from Providence, Merrimack and Boston College.
