Penright showed she could go right or left while going full speed, as well as in the set, yet watching her multiple times, see evaluations here , her stock will continue to grow because when you fall into that “never takes a playoff” group and show DESIRE to outrebound and BATTLE taller players, those are things that can’t be taught

Penright has been a “fill in the blank” type player, and seeing her doing damage from multiple positions, on both ends, gives me a glimpse of what’s coming see evaluations here

Penright is an athletic guard who understands how to use her athleticism on both ends, but handing the ball under pressure, going full speed, is one of the things that initially caught my eye from her at the Simmie Colson Classic see evaluation here I use plenty of acronyms, either to describe things in the game or people so SWB shook me up, speed with the ball. I’ve had a chance to catch her a few more times, and her upside is high see evaluations here

Penright is on the verge of blowing completely up, as she is another player who has shown me quite a bit in several settings, see evaluation here, as she’s an athletic guard who uses her athleticism on both ends. Her “on the ball” defense has always stood out, yet it’s becoming “smothering” as she’s picking pockets and playing the passing lane better, and her blowing by defenders to score also looked good

Penright is another explosive guard who can go 0-80 with the ball and stay under control yet she also has good court vision in transition, in the set as well as off the dribble. I love her upside because pressure is irrelevant when she’s facing it, yet she also applies it, and that’s a problem see evaluation here

Penright also showed explosiveness off the dribble yet her SWB,” speed with the ball”, will create major problems, and here’s why. She stays under control going full speed and her body control and acrobatic finishes were nice yet she can also thread the needle going full speed, from 20 feet away. On the ball defense, check, plays the passing lane, double-check
