Lola was dominant in the paint for Chicago Hoops Express 15U on Sunday at the Great Lakes Kickoff. Her length and mobility gave opposing forwards fits. She protected the rim, swatting multiple shots away, and relentlessly crashed the glass to secure several offensive rebounds. Lola scored many putbacks, including a strong and-one finish and another off two feet over a contesting defender. She forced the defense to send her to the free throw line and knocked them down efficiently.

She sets her body up to score near the rim and seals her defender to be able to make a move and score, she has a nasty drop step on the low block and uses her strength to fight through contact. She protects the rim at all costs and takes off down the floor for two points in transition plays. She protects the ball and communicates well beyond her teammates!
