Thomas gets the “trifecta” of Tip Sheets from me, and after seeing her a couple of times already this season, see evaluations here. Her deceptive first step looked good in the 3-on-3 and got her buckets off the dribble, and she drained the “catch-and-shoot” and that stayed consistent during the 5-on-5. Her defense was solid, and she played the passing lane

Thomas is an athletic guard who uses her athleticism on both ends. Her defensive pressure immediately stood out; she also played the passing lane well. She set the defender up nicely to attack and score off the dribble; her body control after contact looked good

Thomas showed she could score off the dribble using a deceptive first step and finish with either hand, yet just as important was her court vision and hitting teammates in transition using either hand. Her body control after contact looked good, she also showed she could apply “on the ball” pressure
