The Champions Challenge will tip off tomorrow night. We will have some talented kids in the gym, some of whom are the elite kids in Wisconsin. Today, we'll look at some players D2 programs should look at if they have time, then end the day with kids the regional schools should see.

Krull missed her sophomore season due to a knee injury she suffered about a year ago. Krull is an excellent defensive kid with an offensive upside. In her first season at Xavier, Krull is a solid perimeter defender and had standout games on the offensive end of the floor, like her 20-point outburst against KML in the 2024 D3 State Semifinal. There's something there, and I'm eager to see her for the first time since that state tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='491719' first='Jasmin' last='Heuer']

The Fall Creek native is a high-motor kid who earns her keep on the defensive end of the floor. She's a scrappy kid who rebounds the ball well and uses her body well around the basket on the defensive end. Heuer has improved on the offensive end of the floor and expanded her offensive game these past few years. She'll have opportunities to play scholarship basketball at the next level, but schools that may not have seen her should watch her once.

[player_tooltip player_id='772587' first='Abigail' last='Tassoul']

The guard from De Pere has had an excellent start to her AAU season and has caught the attention of college coaches. Tassoul is a productive offensive threat, scoring from all three levels and creating with the ball in her hands. The De Pere native had an excellent high school season and has continued that momentum into her summer with [program_tooltip program_id='713127' first='Wisconsin' last='Legends']. Tassoul is a late bloomer in the class of 2026, but she could draw significant attention this spring and summer. She's worth noting for D2s at the event.

[player_tooltip player_id='814306' first='Devin' last='Larson']

The Hudson guard has always impressed me when I've seen her play. Larson is quick, controls the ball well, and runs their offense. The Raiders were among the best teams in the state before injuries struck, and Larson got the most out of the kids around her. She set the tone for that team and had them play some of the best basketball in the state their first week. Larson isn't flashy but is a productive lead guard who understands the game well and is a creator on the floor. She's from a suburb of the Twin Cities, so some GLIAC or GLVC schools may not have seen her, but if they're there, they should watch her.
