Memorial Day Classic: MVPs

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lady Phenom is hosting their Memorial Day Classic in Rock Hill, SC this weekend with a good mix of teams from the southeast competing this holiday weekend.&nbsp; I was able to catch day 1 of the event, so here are my votes for Most Valuable Players.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block shot from deep, and this seemed to be on repeat throughout the game, especially late in the game cutting into her opponent's lead.  She battled inside for some rebounds on both ends of the court making sure her team always had a chance for the board.  She was constantly moving on offense making sure she was always an asset for her team.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block it all for her team getting to the block and finding the openings.  She can score off the pass or off the dribble easily, and her length is critical on defense getting her hands in the way.  She always attracts the most attention making defenses adjust specifically to guard her, and she continues to adapt and adjust using what the defense gives her.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- doing a nice job facilitating some plays knowing exactly what time she had to whip passes inside or set herself up for her own shot.  She did a nice job absorbing contact as she attacked the basket making the right adjustments to score her points.  She never gave up on a play going after the ball even when strong post players came down with the rebound.  </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- some nice range with her shot knowing how to put up the quick release and nice arc to make it drop in the hoop.  She even hit the game winning shot in a tough match up showing how she can score no matter what kind of pressure is on.  She followed shots going after rebounds on both ends, too, even getting a nice old fashioned three point play opportunity from an offensive rebound.  </p> <!--
