Hall is a name on the rise for a team that is on the rise too. She was the only eighth grader on last season’s 5A Division 2 Lugoff-Elgin team coached by Dominique Thompson. Hall played in 24 of the Demons’ 25 contests last season and averaged 8.1 points, 1.8 steals and 1.4 assists per game. Lugoff-Elgin qualified for the playoffs for the first time since 2009-10 last season – and unlike that 2009-10 team, last season’s Demons won its playoff game. It defeated St. James in the first round of last season’s 5A Division 2 tournament in large part because of Hall who tallied 18 points to send the Sharks to an early exit. Lugoff-Elgin will return to the 4A ranks starting next season. 

There were two 2030s that took center stage at Monday’s region get-together between the Gamecocks and Demons. Hall was eighth-grade standout for Lugoff-Elgin and she aided her team’s cause with a 10-point performance. She gives Lugoff-Elgin a potent threat from distance. The Demons connected on four of its 3-point attempts throughout Monday’s matchup. Three of those four departed from Hall’s hands. Defensively, Hall can keep her arms outstretched and that defensive activity can lead to additional opportunities for her team. A product of Lady TUSC , she is listed as a point guard on Lugoff-Elgin’s roster even though connecting from deep is a specialty of hers. Hall is just getting started. 

Hall has one of the quickest releases from behind the arc. She knows how to use the screens to get open and get her shot off. A player that works hard on both ends of the floor. Shot the ball consistently from mid-range as well as from behind the arc. A player you have to face guard so she can’t get her shot off. Pure Shooter.
