Basketball's status as a predominantly indoor sport served it well this past weekend in the Lowcountry as inclement weather was the story this past weekend throughout South Carolina.

Even with the whole state drenched in rain, this past weekend's South Carolina Basketball Coaches Association (SCBCA) still took place. The North Charleston Athletic Center was, once again, the site for all of the festivities for many of the state's premier high school and middle school talents.

We at Prep Girls Hoops also made the trip to North Charleston that Saturday. We conclude our Elite Camp coverage with a look at sophomores and freshmen that put together solid performances.

One of the more intriguing young prospects throughout the Palmetto State, Hall showcased exactly why she moved up recently in our updated 2030 rankings. Opposing teams looking to contain Hall have to understand her 3-point shot is a centerpiece of her game. Hall fuses together the accuracy of a two guard with the ball-handling skills of someone who plays point and also has rim-attacking capabilities along with the willingness to draw contact and find her way to the free throw line. She averaged 8.1 points, 1.8 steals and 1.4 assists for a Lugoff-Elgin team that put together one of its most successful seasons in recent memory last year and is heading back to the 4A ranks beginning with 2026-27.

Harris placed herself firmly on the statewide map last season with a breakout eighth grade campaign for 4A South Aiken. The 5-foot-10 frontcourt force was one of two Thoroughbreds on hand in North Charleston and can place crooked numbers on the scoring and rebounding portions of a stat sheet. Harris' skillset also includes plenty of solid play on defense in addition to an ability to convert on high-percentage buckets. The 11.3 points, 9.2 rebounds and 2.9 steals Harris averaged in 19 of the T-breds 24 games helped South Aiken's 2025-26 version to its first winning season in nearly a decade.

Confidence and consistency are not always attributes seen in younger players. Rowan is not one's typical 2030. She displays consistent ability to attack the rim that opposing defenses have very little answers for in addition to being an efficient runner of the floor. Rowan also understands the correct times to attack and the correct times to try and score – which she can also do from range. The former [program_tooltip program_id='713550' first='Palmetto' last='76ers'] product recently made AAU-related news as it was announced she will run with AEBL Girlz for her 2027 grassroots campaign. After playing in 28 games as an eighth grader and averaging nine points, 2.1 steals, 1.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists last season, Rowan looks to continue her stellar play which should have South Pointe as a state contender once again in 4A throughout 2026-27.

Not only does Singletary have more varsity experience than the typical 2030 since she first played as a seventh grader, she is also one of the higher-profile freshmen across South Carolina and already has an offer from Coastal Carolina. The 4A Irmo star was another of the day's consistent playmakers and that ability will garner plenty of attention from opposing defenses. The ability to finish with her left hand is another element to her well-developed skillset and brings a heads-up, focused mentality whenever she steps on the court. She averaged 23.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, 3.6 steals and 3.6 assists last season as a Yellow Jackets eighth grader.
