Stasik showed me she could knock down jumpers while being defended the first time I saw her and earlier this season at the Top 80 HTX see evaluations here and seeing her improved ball-handling and court vision while being pressured had me smiling as did her “stop and pop” jumper along with showing she could “catch and shoot” while being defended

Stasik gave me an eye-opening look 4 months ago at the TJ Showcase in my “The Babies Are Coming” article see evaluation here Yeah, she falls into that #sizedontmatter group, but her demeanor is one of the things that blew me away. She did a good job defending “on the ball” understands how to trap as well as beat the offensive player to the spot, yet her “stop and pop” jumper was sizzling. Body control after contact looks good, so does her court vision, and she played the passing lane

Stasik falls into that #sizedontmatter group because she can play. I was overly impressed with her court vision and watching her thread the needle between defender for assists but she also showed she could score off the dribble and finish strongly. Her “on the ball” pressure looked good, so does her upside
