Lebanon Team Camp Day 3 Highlights

With more teams in action, the 3rd day was filled with rejuvenated competitors who were ready to get after it. Once again, matchups were at a premium as teams got after each other, going hard each and every possession. Times like these really make me wish the actual season was in session, but I promise I won't wish the summer away (maybe the rain though).</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I know I am very biased when it comes to young ladies who compete on the hardwood in our state. I'm unsure, but maybe it just means more. Talented. Physical. Finisher. Go-getter. Hard-worker. Whatever comes to mind, this kid is it. She is a tough-nosed ball player who can face up or play with her back to the basket. She has relentless energy and just competes on each possession. Doesn't matter what end of the floor she is on, you have to account for her whereabouts as she is going to be out there making plays. Her team feeds off her energy, and she is the gas pedal that helps make this team go. Whew. This girl can beat you in so many ways. Sure, she can splash it from deep, but bringing the physicality in the painted area, holy cow, this girl is good. Cara is a juggernaut down low, and she uses her size to gain valuable ground that enables her to finish. Solid in the high post, low blocks, pick and roll action, she is a scoring threat that can get her way at any time. Defensively, she, too, is big-time on that end. Blocking shots, getting boards, her presence is really felt. New School. But same ol' gritty ball player. This kid is phenomenal and plays the game the right way. She gets after it and is willing to do whatever it takes to help uplift her ballclub. A throwback type of player who is just downright nasty. Need a bucket, she's got it. Assists. Lock up a player. Get a steal. This kid is talented, and I can't say that enough. She plays with relentless energy, can get to the rim, shoot from 3 at a high clip, and really contributes on the defensive end. She can defend whoever and wherever, but also bring a little physicality to the fold. She is a tireless worker who is going to be impactful. She can handle the ball, face up and score, or post up down low along the blocks. This kid is a solid ball player, and she can be so good. She has all the tools to be the X factor in the game, and once it clicks, it's going to be scary. Her size and speed pose as threats, and she is going to be a major part of this Siegel Stars ball club. Look for her to continue to get better throughout the summer and into the school year.
