Rankings Update: Shining Bright 2026s

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Girls Hoops North Carolina has been updating their rankings this month.  The latest update and the last one for this quarter comes to us in the class of 2026.  Last week, I was able to attend day 2 of the NCBCA Live Team Camp where I saw these 2026s shining at the perfect time.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block the court including showing off her range shooting the ball from around the perimeter.  She was constantly talking on the court and moving with and without the ball to make a play.  She knew how to read her opponents on defense directing her teammates where to go and sliding into the right spots to make a play.  She had some nice blocked shots, too.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- defender being able to knock the ball away from guards trying to get by her.  She explodes to the basket scoring on fast breaks.  She is always doing whatever it takes to get the ball for her team whether she is leading an opponent to a trap or diving on the floor for loose balls.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block cutting backdoor to find the opening and score her points at the basket.  She can knock down her shot from deep, too.  She handles the ball well under pressure always keeping her eyes peeled for the next best play.  She had a nice shot block late in the game as her opponents were trying to get back in it.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block on the block for every possession and rebound.  She gets inside using her own power dribbles, or she flashes in the paint looking for the pass from the wing.  She's tough on defense, too, and she is her range shooting the ball.  She was tough on the block, too, using ball fakes to make the shot in transition.  She was aggressive grabbing steals making sure her opponents had trouble even getting past half court.  She knew when to slow her tempo losing her defender.  Her defense was tough picking the pocket of her opponents to take the other direction.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!--
