Douglas entered high school with multiple D1 offers from often playing up at Grind Prep. She’s an outstanding defender, who can lock up the opposition or rack up stocks. On offense, she’s an unselfish guard, but when needed she’s a quick and strong slasher to the basket. Gets on the glass as well, as she’s a full court impact player. Is the ideal compliment to the pair of outstanding juniors for Grind, indicating she’ll likely fit in well right away at the next level.

Douglas already has loads of experience against older prospects from playing up with her Grind Prep program against a national schedule. Which has led to her having a handful of Power 4 and other D1 offers. Impressed this past weekend at the Pride of the East Side showcase. She’s a tall guard, with an even longer wingspan. Which she uses to be a havoc causer on the defensive end. Pushes the tempo for transition points and is hard to handle off the bounce as a good finisher at the rim.

Two way guard, who quickly turns defense into offense. Looks to push fast in transition by grabbing rebounds and recording steals. While she plays fast, she has the poise and grace to slow down and still smoothly finish. Good first step in the halfcourt, often pressuring the rim with strong drives. One of Oklahoma’s very best freshmen, already with offers from all over the nation.

In recent years Oklahoma has consistently produced high major talent. Next up is Douglas, who already has varsity experience with GRIND Prep. And played at the 16U Girls EYBL level with ProSkills. Her outstanding play against older competition has already caught the attention of college coaches. With offers from Syracuse, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Houston and recently Wichita State. She’s part of a fantastic basketball family, with her older brother “Bubba D” being one of the top 2028 prospects on the boys side in Oklahoma. Saniya is athletic and an impact player on both ends of the court.
