Whitney Sollom (2020)
Whitney Sollom is a name that most fans know. She is 6’3″ and has a family history of Division 1 athletes. Sollom had college interest before she even started high school. Last year, she was named player of the year. In a win against the defending state champions, Saginaw Heritage, Sollom scored 11 points and a career high of 22 rebounds.
Emma Belles (2020)
Emma Belles is a 5’8″ guard from Ithaca. Belles led her team with 17 points against Michigan Lutheran Seminary. Belles showed that pressure does not get to her when she hit the game winning buzzer beater. This Spring Arbor commit, averages a double-double each game.
Megan Matson (2020)
Megan Matson is a forward from Munising. Matson led the score box with 30 points in a victory over Superior Central last week. The Munising Mustangs are looking for Matson to be a leader on the court this season.
McKenna Bent (2020)
McKenna Bent is a 5’6″ point guard from Comstock Park. Last week, in a victory over Holland, Bent set a school record of 40 points in one game. If that is not impressive enough, Bent hit 10 three-pointers. Stayed tuned throughout the season to see if Bent breaks her own game-high record. Bent has committed to Saginaw Valley State University and will continue her basketball career as a Cardinal.
Alexys Carlstrom (2020)
Alexys Carlstrom is a 5’6″ point guard from Harrison. Last week against Beaverton, Carlstrom led her team to a victory scoring 23 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 steals. She hit her 1,000th career point last year as a junior.
