Top Tennessee Prospects Shine at Grassroots Basketball Event

From the moment the doors open until the place closes, it's been packed with great action. Teams have been battling tooth and nail, with great matchups and ball games played. This is only day 2 of this event, yet our Tennessee ball clubs have been making a name for themselves. From the EYBL circuit down to the lower divisions, Tennessee players have been proving themselves and displaying their worth. I have had the opportunity to catch many games, and I have come away impressed with what I saw.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Energy and effort. Compete. 3 words that come to mind, I would tell any prospect. Go out there and be the best version of you, and everything will fall into place. This kid competes, and she gets after it on each and every possession. Shifty guard who can get downhill and score the rock. She's big-time on the defensive end, causing havoc, creating turnover opportunities that lead to fast breaks. This kid has been fun to watch and look for her to continue on this trajectory and make a name for herself. She can put it on the floor, receive kick-out pass, and knock it down with tons of confidence. My point is this kid can fill it up and do so at a consistent clip. She has had big-time moments on the floor and has displayed a lot of grit. She's active on the defensive end and contributes on the boards. She has been playing her tail off, coming up with steals and getting buckets. She has been using her speed to create chaos, making teams turn the ball over. She has been getting paint touches, drawing defenders, to either finish with a nice floater or kicking out to open shooters. This kid competes, and she does so on both ends of the floor. She is a marksman who has added to her bag over the years. She is confident to pull it 5ft from the 3-point line, yet she will put it on the floor to go get a layup. Her stock has surely risen due to the hard work she has put in this offseason. She just plays. She has a motor. It doesn't matter the opponent, she goes out there and dominates. She's an absolute dawg and watching her on the circuit, her stock should surely go up. She can play on ball or off ball, either way, she impacts the game. Then she turns around and does it on the defensive end. This kid is tough. Period.
