Reece Collins Reece Collins 5'6" | PG Livingston Academy | 2028 State TN has elite-level hustle.

The effort and intensity that Collins played with on the defensive end in her sophomore season made her a constant steal threat. Her persistent and crowding playstyle generated constant mistakes from other teams. She had multiple games with four or more steals, including a six-steal game against Clinton County.

Offensively, Collins excels in fast-break scenarios. Her speed allows her to get ahead of her opponents and score layups in these scenarios.

This kid is a tough competitor. A true difference maker, this young lady controls the game and dictates the pace of play. She distributes the ball effectively, can penetrate to finish or kick, and when it’s time to get a bucket, she knows her spots to get to so she can score. Yes, she is a three-level scoring threat, but she brings so much more to the table. Her teammates feed off her energy, and she hustles on every possession. Don’t let her size fool you; she is a go-getter that really sets the tone. A trustworthy ballplayer who will be a solid addition at the next level for a club looking for a heady floor general.

Collins played the game like any coach would want her to, especially at the point guard position. She is a feisty kid who got after it on the defensive end which partly set the tone, in my opinion, for the rest of her team. She played with toughness and no fear of contact, whether it was creating space for herself with the dribble, applying pressure to opposing dribblers, or making plays for loose balls. Collins also distributed the ball very well on the offensive end, particularly on the fast break where her team scored a lot of points or in the half court running the Trotters offense. She could have forced more shots, but she kept the ball moving passing open looks for herself to get her teammates better looks. When Collins decided to score, she did so effectively and efficiently.

She may be undersized, but she plays with such passion for the game. Love the way she distributes the ball, gets to her spots to score, and just rallies the troops. She is going to go hard at an opponent on both ends of the floor. She’s tough. When playing her, you have to bring your best. She is a selfless leader who makes a difference any time she is on the floor. Look for her stock to increase as more people take notice of her game.

Reece brought relentless hustle to the floor and made her presence felt despite her smaller frame. She created turnovers with her activity and was really good at getting deflections, while offensively, she showcased her shooting ability by knocking down shots from behind the arc. Reece also displayed some of the fastest end-to-end speed at the showcase, using it to pressure defenses and spark transition play.

ough competitor who commands the offense. This kid competes, and she gets after it on each and every possession. Shifty guard who can get downhill and score the rock. She’s big-time on the defensive end, causing havoc, creating turnover opportunities that lead to fast breaks. This kid has been fun to watch and look for her to continue on this trajectory and make a name for herself. Her presence is truly felt when she is on the basketball floor.
