James is one of the best guards in this class, not the best small guard, simply one of the best guards. She's crafty, she's confident, and has a certain aura about her game that makes people want to suit up next to her. She can go in and out of being a scorer and being a facilitator. She's received a D1 offer, and there could be more down the road.

I haven't been able to catch a game of Amaris in person, but I watched a couple of games through stream, and this kid is TOUGH.. but simple, which makes her even more intriguing. She doesn't need much to get a lot done, and from an offensive standpoint, she is a threat everywhere on the floor. On the attack, she can score, from beyond the arc, she can get hot, and if need be, she can go 3-5 straight possessions of setting teammates up. Big fan.

An electrifying guard who plays the game like she's listening to music. She's crafty with a ball on a string and knows how to get to where she needs to go. As the players around her get better, I think she'll be able to play off the ball and add more to her game, but she knows how to get those teammates going, which shows the leadership.

Most guys lack the energy even if they're overly skilled.. Nina has a good balance of both. She's energetic, she's hyper, and doesn't take a play off. Guards like that will make coaches happy, cause effort is something that doesn't need to be questioned. As her offensive skillset starts to open up, she'll be a hard matchup for guards in Illinois.
