In a 41-35 win over South Effingham, Jules shot 4-11 from the field including a crucial 3-7 from beyond the arc to finish with 13 points, 1 assist and 2 steals. The GIAA transfer averaged 25 points per game as a freshman. While it will be difficult to replicate that right away in the GHSA, Gotell will make a major difference in the backcourt with her size, athleticism and smooth scoring touch along the perimeter.

Gotell is a very talented young player who has already put together an impressive start to her high school career being named All Region and All State twice while averaging 23 points per game as an 8th grader and following that up with an average of 25 points per game.She is an excellent shooter from deep who also uses her high level ball handling to slash to the basket effectively. She is a very skilled player in a lot of areas, especially on the offensive end. Gotell will continue her high school career next season at Lamar County making her debut paying in the GHSA. If she were underrated or hidden before, Juliana will not be now. I believe that she has the game to back up the name. Time will tell.
