After highlighting potential breakout players heading into the 2025-26 season, I'd like to discuss a few players who could be x-factors for their programs. Describing an X-factor can be taken in different directions depending on what a player can do or their team's needs, but let's look at a few players who could play crucial roles for their programs this coming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='874396' first='Kamryn' last='Stauffacher']

The Oshkosh West Wildcats had a talented group of players graduate in the 2024 class. However, there is some talent in the 2028 class, and Stauffacher is a significant part of that. Stauffacher is a talented wing who can score on the perimeter. Any player who plays for the Wildcats will be able to defend by the time they leave, and Stauffacher is already a solid defender, with room to grow. She's in a perfect space to help maximize her talents before she graduates and moves on to the next level, if she chooses.

[player_tooltip player_id='992482' first='Allie' last='Neuenfeldt']

The De Pere guard is a player I'm curious to see this coming season. The Red Bird had a solid first season and showed her talent coming off the bench. She's a talented athlete who can defend multiple positions and will likely guard some taller players on the wing or use her strength to hold her ground around the basket. There is a talented core at De Pere, and I'm eager to see how she fits with that group in her sophomore season.

[player_tooltip player_id='751276' first='Olivia' last='LaBlanc']

The talent has always been there for LaBlanc, but her body has failed her in her first two seasons at Hudson. In the few games she has played, she has controlled them from start to finish. The Raider is an unselfish player who can move the ball and get her teammates involved. I believe that a full season of LaBlanc could help the Raiders be a serious threat to make the state tournament. After I saw them play last season, I thought that they were good enough to beat some of the FVA's best programs in their sectional.

[player_tooltip player_id='751258' first='Elle' last='Krull']

The Xavier wing is a player who flipped a game at the state tournament in her first season of high school basketball. Krull is also a talented defender who will be an impactful player in her junior season. The Hawks have played a mix of man and zone defenses over the last few seasons, but having Krull back could alter their approach on that end of the floor.
