The Hudson native is a player I’ve always enjoyed watching, and it’s no secret that injuries have kept her from being what she could’ve been at the start of her high school career. However, the skill LaBlanc has never left her. She may be the best passer in the 2027 class around the state and is willing to fire passes through small windows. She is a player who can swing games at any time, and the further she gets away from her severe injuries, the better she will be.

The Hudson wing is among the more skilled players in the 2027 class. What she can do as a passer can swing games in a few possessions. She missed most of her first two high school seasons due to injury, but had a productive junior season, and still isn’t back to where she will be in a year. As she continues to get back to her old self, she will look better and better. Very rarely do I say things to this effect, but there is a real chance whoever lands LaBlanc to play at the next level could be getting the steal of the class in

The Hudson native has had the majority of the last two seasons taken from her due to knee injuries. However, LaBlanc has proven to be a smart player who can make the right reads with the ball in her hands. She’s a physical player who can play on the perimeter and use her strength to overpower opposing defenses.

Unfortunately, LaBlanc’s first two seasons haven’t gone to plan. Both ended abruptly with ACL injuries. However, LaBlanc has shown an impressive skillset. She’s a mismatch, no matter how you slice it. She’s a physical 5’11 kid who can battle around the rim, knock down shots, and create for others at a high level. Her passing made Hudson look like one of the best D1 teams in the state early in the season. She’s a unique talent facing adversity, but she’s a kid who loves basketball, and I hope she gets back to full strength so we can see her thrive on the floor.

Injury cut short what seemed to be a promising freshman campaign for LaBlanc. The Hudson native came down to the Milwaukee area with the Raiders and pushed a talented Hartford team to the brink behind an outstanding performance from LaBlanc. The lefty showed that she could hurt teams from all three levels on the offensive end of the floor, and her ability to attack off the dribble made her more dynamic than just about anyone on the floor.

The Hudson wing had her season cut short due to a knee injury early into her season. However, she showed flashes of being one of the top players in the Big Rivers Conference. LaBlanc was impressive down in Kettle Moraine against eventual Sectional Champions Hartford. The 5’11 had them in a position to win that game with her excellent performance on the offensive end of the floor. I’m unsure of her timeline to return to action, but she could explode onto the scene this year.
