Romens took a bit of time to get acclimated to the showcase environment, but was a key part of the action for Team 5 once she got going. Sadie's ability to make well-timed cuts and set solid screens created plenty of movement on the offensive end. Using her superior length and athleticism, the 5'10 guard/forward cleaned up on the offensive glass, leading to extra touches for her team. The Stewartville freshman also displayed her ability to shoot from both the midrange and beyond the arc with a smooth, high-arcing release.

Following a strong AAU season with the standout [program_tooltip program_id='713021' first='West' last='Central United'] 2029 squad, Reiman made plenty of impact on Sunday. With tremendous length, speed, and fluid athleticism, Aliya is certainly built for the college game. On the defensive end, Reiman's 6'0 stature gives her a distinct advantage on the boards. On offense, the Willmar freshman had no hesitation shooting the ball from all over, getting her shots off with little time or space via her quick, snappy release.

Following an outstanding spring season with the [program_tooltip program_id='712700' first='Minnesota' last='Suns'], Tesch gave us plenty to take notice of at the Freshman Showcase. Standing at 6'0 with a strong, muscular frame, Azalea is an intimidating post presence, particularly on the defensive end. She plays a physical, aggressive style, and is mobile enough to guard the perimeter as well. The Milaca freshman's work ethic impressed us throughout the day, as did her aptitude for the pick-and-roll. While there is certainly room for her skillset to grow, Tesch has the early makings of a strong collegiate prospect.

Reed brought plenty of energy to the floor on Sunday. She's quick, light on her feet, and a very active perimeter defender. On offense, the 5'3 guard has a shifty set of handles and a burst of speed that allows her to get downhill with ease. Arielle's shot mechanics are smooth, and she has no hesitation letting it fly from the three-point line. Following the graduation of five seniors, it's hard to say what this winter will look like for the Eastview guard, but Reed looks ready to fight for a spot in the varsity rotation.

Clemens gave a great all-around performance at the Freshman Showcase, offering plenty to take notice of. The 6'0 forward brings energy to every aspect of the game; she's aggressive on the boards, a vocal cheerleader for her teammates, and a tireless defender. Sydney showed signs of a high basketball IQ, and was instrumental to Team 5's success. A versatile, utility player, the Wayzata freshman plays a simple, but highly effective game. A strong AAU season with [program_tooltip program_id='712722' first='North' last='Tartan'] EYCL, combined with her performance at the showcase give Clemens a strong case for a spot in the initial 2029 rankings.
