McMinn Central is coming off an unbelievable 2024-2025 season. They finished with a record of 30-2, and the #32-ranked player in the class of 2027 in TN, [player_tooltip player_id='821721' first='Malea' last='Masingale'], was hooping.

Masingale displayed last year that she was a versatile scorer. She has a great lefty three-point jumper, but does not hesitate to attack a lane if space opens up. At 5'11", Masingale has a solid handle and has no issue finishing through contact.

She is the type of player that coaches love. She can step up and be the star one night on the offensive end, and on the other hand, she can fill the role that is needed to give her team the best chance to win.

[player_tooltip player_id='821756' first='Allye' last='Pennington'] had a great sophomore season at East Robertson High School. Her high school hoop squad finished with an overall record of 17-5.

Pennington, as just a sophomore, established herself as one of the best players in the 2027 class of TN. She averaged 22 points per game, 3.6 assists per game, and 2.6 steals per game. In only her sophomore year, she has already surpassed 1,000 high school career points.

Her mainstay when she gets on the floor is her elite-level shooting. She shot 41.4% from three last season and 92.5% from the free-throw line. To pair with her shooting, she is an extremely tough guard. She is shifty and plays at an extremely high level.

She was already one of the better players in the state in her sophomore season. It will be exciting to see what she can set out to accomplish in year three of her high school career.

The West Greene Lady Buffaloes are coming of an ok, 2024-2025 season, finishing with a record of 13-13. Within this season there center [player_tooltip player_id='1133788' first='Joie' last='Shipley'] shined.

Shipley had some outstanding performances for West Greene High School last season. She showed that she can take over games in multiple ways, and as she develops as a player, these avenues to big games will only broaden.

One way she impacts games heavily is her shot blocking. She is extremely good at timing her jumps in contesting and blocking shots. Her defensive prowess was on full display against Chuckey-Doak High School where she recorded eight blocks. In that same contest she showed another ability she has, that being her rebounding. She had 17 rebounds against Chuckey-Doak.

Shipley simply does a great job at positioning herself and using her size to her advantage when getting boards. It will be exciting to see how Shipley and West Greene play in her junior season.

Memphis East is coming off a solid season, going 16-8, and there SG [player_tooltip player_id='822247' first='McKenzie' last='Register'] had a great season in the process.

Register last year brought a list of winning traits to the table. One of those being her ability to steal passes. One game she showcased this in was against Overton High School, where she got three steals. Register is also a solid finisher on transition, which pairs well with her steal ability.

Register' main skill in half court offense, is her three point shot. Her mechanics are smooth, and she has the capabilty to hit from a number of spots behind the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='419018' first='Jonna' last='Moses'] had a great high school season with Tellico Plains. They finished with an overall record of 15-11.

Moses is a streaky three-point shooter. She can erupt for a big performance at a moment's notice. This was seen in a contest last year against Kings Academy, where she had four threes.

Along with her shooting ability, Moses has a solid hand and is solid in creating scoring opportunities for her teammates. She is smaller at 5'6" but makes up for it with her hustle and her speed.

Exciting things should be ahead for Moses' last year of high school basketball.
