Isabella Cortes Isabella Cortes 5'6" | SG/PG De La Salle | 2028 State LA has been building momentum, and her place in this LSUE camp group gives me another reason to follow the 2028 De La Salle guard. Her offensive appeal is having different ways to contribute: outside shooting, attacking the basket, and finding a teammate. Her recruiting profile includes highlights labeled for those finishes, a corner three, and an assist. ncsasports.org As a coach, I like the possibilities that combination creates. A defender has to respect the jumper, while the ability to drive and pass can open opportunities for the whole team. That’s the part of Isabella’s game I’d emphasize under “One More Chance to Leave a Mark.” After the strong summer and camp performances I’ve followed, LSUE offered another opportunity to bring those tools into a college setting. Keep building on that momentum, Isabella—there’s more to your game for coaches to discover!

Isabella Cortes Isabella Cortes 5'6" | SG/PG De La Salle | 2028 State LA brought her summer momentum straight into the Millsaps Prospect Camp! Attending on a special invite, the 2028 De La Salle guard picked up where she left off at Loyola and delivered another strong performance. I’ve liked the way she has continued to put her talent in front of coaches, and Millsaps added another reason to keep watching. One good showing gets your attention; backing it up in another gym makes you remember the name. That’s why Isabella fits “Making Plays, Earning Attention.” She has been putting together a strong stretch, and this camp was another opportunity she made count. As a coach, I’m looking for players who can carry their game into a new setting and keep producing. Isabella is building that kind of momentum. Keep your eyes on this young lady—she’s giving us plenty to follow. Keep hooping, Isabella!

Isabella Cortes Isabella Cortes 5'6" | SG/PG De La Salle | 2028 State LA is a guard with plenty to like in her game! The 2028 De La Salle prospect can handle the ball, create opportunities for her teammates, and compete on defense. Her previous scouting evaluations highlight that combination, along with the composure and toughness she brings to the floor. That’s what I like in a guard—someone who can help run the offense and make her matchup work on the other end.

Cortes can also knock down shots beyond the arc, giving defenders another reason to stay close. Her recorded high school performances show that outside shooting is part of what she brings to the game. Pair that with her playmaking, and she has several ways to help a team offensively.

With “Big Performances in the Big Easy” in mind, Isabella is a name worth keeping up with. She has a good foundation, and I’m looking forward to seeing how she builds on it as her game continues to grow. Keep putting in those hours, Isabella—keep giving coaches a reason to remember your name!
