Isabella Cortes Isabella Cortes 5'6" | SG/PG De La Salle | 2028 State LA is a guard with plenty to like in her game! The 2028 De La Salle prospect can handle the ball, create opportunities for her teammates, and compete on defense. Her previous scouting evaluations highlight that combination, along with the composure and toughness she brings to the floor. That’s what I like in a guard—someone who can help run the offense and make her matchup work on the other end.

Cortes can also knock down shots beyond the arc, giving defenders another reason to stay close. Her recorded high school performances show that outside shooting is part of what she brings to the game. Pair that with her playmaking, and she has several ways to help a team offensively.

With “Big Performances in the Big Easy” in mind, Isabella is a name worth keeping up with. She has a good foundation, and I’m looking forward to seeing how she builds on it as her game continues to grow. Keep putting in those hours, Isabella—keep giving coaches a reason to remember your name!
