Being a High Percentage Prospect can mean a few things but in general, it means that the player is efficient and consistent in whatever they are attempting. Below we have a handful of players that have embodied what it means to be a high percentage player as of late and they are each on track to do that once again this upcoming season.

The Danville Bears finished their season last Winter with a 15-9 record overall, 11-3 in conference. On this journey, someone who stood out as their leader in every definition of the word was [player_tooltip player_id='1194714' first='Alaina' last='Gourley'] at the PG spot. Gourley not only created and facilitated at a higher rate than most, she scored the rock at a high rate as well and she did it efficiently. Offensively, she rarely attempted deep jumpers. She only shot 9 three point attempts in their 26 games so that means she got all of her action as she went downhill towards the basket. Gourley was also looked at to rebound at a high rate. She finished the year with just under 7 RPG. Which is fairly impressive considering she is in-charge of doing everything else as well. This Winter should be a great one for Gourley. If she plays to her strengths, she is sure to put up some more convincing numbers in their success.

The ceiling for [player_tooltip player_id='582813' first='Ellie' last='Muller'] is high when you look at her size, what she currently brings to the floor now, and what she might be able to bring to the floor in the future. She has the chance to turn into a menace in the middle of the lane with her mixture of size and athleticism. She can currently stay in-between the blocks and alter almost any shot that might come near her or she can even spread out to the three point line to defend someone that might be a bit smaller. Last Winter Muller shot the ball at a 63.5% click as a whole, ranking her in the Top Five in the state for her 2026 Class. This Winter Dowling Catholic will look to work around Muller for one more season before she takes her talents to Mizzou. If they prepare the right way and put together a crafty game plan, I'm sure this will be a team we continue to talk about moving into the 2026 calendar year.

I have gotten a lot of questions as to where [player_tooltip player_id='656292' first='Zoe' last='Allen'] might go and honestly, I'm not sure exactly at this point. Allen has options. A lot of options at this time but I'm sure that we are going to find out that answer sooner rather than later. Allen is an efficient and thorough Post prospect. She stands at 6'1, she has some really nice touch on the basketball, and she understands the game from a strategic standpoint at her position. When she has time to go to work without being doubled near the blocks, she is very good at going to work and keeping it simple. She knows to score over smaller opponents but she can also score with a counter move if she is cut off going one way or another. Allen is solid now as an overall hooper and that will translate to the college floor as one when she gets there following this season.

I'm curious to see how [player_tooltip player_id='502095' first='Emily' last='Larsen'] comes out this Winter for her CR - Prairie team. Larsen, a UNI Panthers Women's Basketball commit, is a sharp shooter from deep that can get hot in a hurry. She has proven over her years that she is one of the best shooters that Iowa has to offer but I'm hoping to see her take her game to another level this season. As a Junior, she scored the ball at a high rate (45%), mainly letting it go from distance. If she can build on that this time around, she will be looking good as she moves into the college ranks in the near future. She just has to stay confident in her abilities.

[player_tooltip player_id='582809' first='Emma' last='Boswell'] and Nodaway Valley High School are going to surprise some this Winter with the product they will bring to the floor. Boswell is a transfer moving into her Senior year and she is going to bring some fire in the middle of the lane for the Wolverines. At right around 6'0, this is someone who can take over a contest with her presence in the middle. Not only is she taller, she has athletic ability to pair along with it and a high motor. If you take that into consideration and the fact that she will have [player_tooltip player_id='510277' first='Izzy' last='Eisbach'] as her PG, the possibilities start to seem endless. Boswell is someone who has converted attempts at a high rate (52%) down low in the past so I expect nothing less this time around.
